Ass. Prof.Dr Mustafa Ateş  was born in Istanbul in 1977. He studied at Nişantaşı Anatolian High School between 1987-1995. He studied dentistry at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry between 1995-2000. In 2008, he has completed his PhD with his thesis on 'Comparison of the methods used in the measurement of dimensional changes after rapid maxillary expansion'. Until May 2014, he was Ass. Prof.Dr  in the Department of Orthodontics of Marmara University. In 2012, he has established Sarıyer Orthodontics Clinic with his wife, Orthodontist Aydan Coşkun Ateş. Areas of interest; digital orthodontic models are digital indirect bracketing, orthognathic surgery and skeletal anchorage methods.
