Session - CBCT Evaluation for Implant Dentistry  - 17 October 2025

Dr. Tamimi will provide an in-depth review of the concepts of imaging for implants, including image manipulation to produce clinically-correct cross sections, radiographic anatomy of relevant parts of the head and neck as well as systematic review of a CBCT volume. She will discuss the key strategies for avoiding implant complications by understanding the principles of anatomy and occlusion, and emphasize the importance of diagnosing the alveolar process and patient prior to implant treatment planning.
This course is important to any dentist who is practicing implant dentistry, whether they use CBCT imaging or not as it reviews anatomy relevant to implant dentistry and the fine art of radiographic evaluation of pathology and formation of a differential diagnosis.

1.    Learning to navigate and extract clinically correct images from a CBCT dataset. 
2.    Establishing a systematic review method to minimize missing important diagnostic information. 
3.    Understanding radiographic anatomy as is related to implant dentistry.

VIP HANDS ON workshop - CBCT interpretation and manipulation for dental implantology - 18 October 2025 
This VIP - one day - hands-on experience with Dr. Tamimi is a radiographic exploration of the dentoalveolar complex that is necessary with each CBCT acquired for implant placement. Identification of anatomy, correct manipulation of the data, and investigation of dentoalveolar pathology that may complicate implant placement will be demonstrated and taught. Dr. Tamimi will also show you how to look for remodeling signs in the jaws that may indicate that the cranofacial foundation is not ideal (such as TMD and Airway disturbances) that need to be put into consideration prior to placement of implants.
