Lecture Overview
The concept of immediacy in implant dentistry has evolved significantly with the integration of new
materials and digital technologies. Today, predictable FP-1 rehabilitations are no longer dependent solely
on surgical skill, but on a comprehensive perio-prosthetic strategy enhanced by digital workflows.
This lecture presents an updated approach to immediate implant therapy, focusing on:
• Precision diagnosis through digital planning
• Soft tissue management as a key determinant of success
• Advanced materials for provisional and definitive restorations
• Minimally invasive protocols to achieve natural emergence profiles
• The ultimate goal is to achieve esthetic, stable, and biologically sound outcomes, minimizing or avoiding the need for hybrid prostheses

Hands-On Immediate Implant and Emergence Profile
This workshop will provide participants with a practical and evidence-based understanding of the
Esthetic Biological Contour Concept (EBC) for optimizing implant-supported restorations. Through
lectures, clinical case reviews, and hands-on exercises, attendees will learn how restorative contour
design influences peri-implant tissue stability, esthetics, and long-term biologic outcomes.

• Principles and biologic rationale of the Esthetic Biological Contour Concept
• Understanding emergence profile design and its impact on esthetics and tissue health
• Identification and management of critical, subcritical, and transitional contour zones
