Abstract: 
The MEDA Immediate Masterclass is a two-day intensive course focused on predictable immediate implant therapy, socket management, soft-tissue enhancement, provisionalization, and emergence profile development.
Day 1 covers the biological and surgical principles of immediate implants, including patient selection, atraumatic extraction, socket healing, prosthodontically driven implant positioning, primary stability, gap management, socket preservation and reconstruction, soft-tissue grafting, and complication management. The prosthetic component focuses on provisional restorations and emergence profile management, including digital workflows, customized Ti-bases, provisionalization techniques, and soft-tissue conditioning.
Day 2 focuses on soft-tissue management around implants and pontic sites, including phenotype evaluation and enhancement, connective tissue grafting, donor-site harvesting, microsurgical techniques, suturing, healing and maturation, complication prevention, and pontic site development. A practical hands-on session will allow participants to apply immediate implant, emergence profile, pontic management, and connective tissue grafting techniques.
The course combines biological principles, surgical precision, prosthetic planning, and hands-on training to provide clinicians with practical protocols for achieving predictable functional and esthetic outcomes in immediate implant treatment.

o    Why to place immediate implants.
o    Socket healing biology and classification.
o    Socket defects and biological approach.
o    Diagnosis and patient selection.
o    Minimally invasive extraction and  devices.
o    Prosthodontically-driven 3D implant position.
o    Surgical guides for immediate implants: implant bed preparation and location.
o    Primary stability and how to make it predictable.
o    Gap approach.
o    Soft tissue grafting.
o    Socket preservation and Socket reconstruction: when and why?
o    Treating complications.
o    Socket preservation using Socket Shield

Evening
Temporary restoration, Emergence profile management:
o    Dental Gingival and Osseous Analysis:
•    Morphology based prosthetic design for the single unit.
•    Multidisciplinary approach to esthetic results in implant dentistry.
•    Soft tissue conditioning of the anterior implant restorations (What is the emergence profile? EBC concept: the three areas).
o    Wax-up diagnostic.
o    Surgical and prosthodontic guides.
o    Types of provisionals, materials, burs, different protocols.
o    Ti-base and devices for the personalisation.
o    Direct and indirect devices.

Provisional Timing, Emergence profile management:
o    Cemented and screwed provisionals.
o    One abutment/one time.
o    Marylands.
o    Removable provisionals.
o    Shaping, polishing and shining.
o    Modification of the emergence profile.
o    Hinds technique and digital workflow to replicate the emergence profile.

DAY 2
Morning
Class II and III sockets and its treatment
o    Esthetic analysis of the clinical case and risk evaluation.
o    Phenotype evaluation. Boosting the phenotype with CTGs and Xenografts around immediate implants.
o    Selecting the harvesting area: different procedures, avoiding complications.
o    Microsurgical approach.
o    Recipient area: partial and full-thickness approach.
o    How to suture.
o    Post-surgical recommendations.
o    Short term and long term healing and maturation of the soft tissues.
o    Preventing and treating complications.

Evening
Hands-on: Immediate Implant & Emergence profile and Pontic Management.
                    CTG harvesting from the palate and tuberosity / tunneling in pig jaw.
